The PromptDC Chrome extension's floating toolbar works in any text box on the web — it appears whenever you focus an input, textarea, or editable field, no per-site setup required. A right-click menu and keyboard shortcut let you enhance selected text anywhere too.
On coding platforms it defaults to Coding mode; everywhere else it uses Writing mode or the per-website profiles you set. The lists below show popular sites with tuned defaults from PromptDC. The toolbar still works in every other text box too.

Yes. On ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, and Perplexity, PromptDC enhances your prompt or text in the chat box using Writing mode by default, and you can switch to any profile from the toolbar.
Does PromptDC work on Gmail and LinkedIn?
Yes. PromptDC works in Gmail, LinkedIn, X, Reddit, Google Docs, and any other site with a text field. Set a per-website rule (for example the Email profile on Gmail) so the right profile activates automatically.
Which sites use Coding mode automatically?
About 32 coding and AI-builder platforms, including Lovable, Bolt.new, Replit, Cursor, v0, Base44, and Manus, default to the Code profile. With only built-in profiles, a manual switch resets to Code on reload. Custom profiles and per-website rules can override that default.
