PromptDC is the first app that enhances coding prompts inside the terminal. Select a prompt in Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, or any CLI, press one shortcut, and the rewrite is put back in the terminal. It works on macOS and Windows.

A terminal exposes no editable Accessibility value, so a prompt tool that reads the focused text field gets nothing. PromptDC uses terminal-specific Copy capture, restores the borrowed clipboard, and checks whether focus is on a terminal or chat surface.

Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Grok, and Agy on macOS and Windows, and OpenCode on Windows. With the Code profile, PromptDC detects the running CLI and writes the prompt for it.

Yes. Any profile works in the terminal, including custom profiles with your own instructions.

No. PromptDC never monitors background typing. It reads terminal text only after you select it and press Cmd+Shift+E on macOS or Ctrl+Shift+E on Windows.

No. Replace clears the current input line and pastes the enhanced prompt, but never presses Enter, so you can review it before sending. Copy leaves the input untouched.

PromptDC requires sign-in, an internet connection, and a paid plan. There is no free plan, free trial, or free credits. On macOS it needs Accessibility permission and macOS 12.0 or later. A native Windows app is available.
