Installation Guide.

PromptDC supports IDE workflows and browser-based AI coding tools. Install the extension in your preferred environment, then use PromptDC to rewrite vague prompts into implementation-ready specs before sending them to the model. The docs sidebar shows featured guides, but PromptDC supports more IDEs and web apps than the featured list.

IDE installation

Install PromptDC from your editor marketplace (VS Code, Cursor-compatible marketplaces, and other supported IDE environments).

  1. Open your IDE marketplace/extensions panel.
  2. Search for PromptDC.
  3. Verify the publisher and install.
  4. Open the PromptDC sidebar to configure mode, model, and format.

Chrome installation

Use the Chrome extension on supported web AI platforms like ChatGPT, Claude, Lovable, Bolt.new, Replit, and other supported web AI apps.

  1. Install PromptDC from the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Pin the extension for faster access.
  3. Open a supported AI tool and use the PromptDC trigger.
  4. Rewrite prompts in Simple or Structured mode before submitting.
