Technical
Architecture.
PromptDC is a high-fidelity instruction layer that standardizes the interaction between developers and large language models. We solve the "garbage in, garbage out" problem by transforming vague intent into precise, multi-dimensional technical specifications.
Platform Deployment
IDE Integration
Deep context-aware integration for IDE workflows including **Cursor, VS Code, Windsurf, Trae, Kiro, Claude Code,** and other supported editor setups. PromptDC rewrites prompts for coding tasks with mode, format, and model/IDE-aware settings.
Chrome Standard
Universal enhancement for **Lovable, Bolt.new, ChatGPT, Claude, Replit, Gemini, Grok** and many other supported web AI apps. PromptDC detects supported web platforms and applies the matching rewrite behavior.
Workflow Strategy
Simple Flow
One-shot enhancement optimized for speed. Best for atomic refactoring and small tasks.
Structured Flow
Full requirement decomposition. Objective, Constraints, and Technical Specs for complex features.
Language Library
Global optimization across 9 supported languages. Maintaining technical fidelity in any local dialect.
Format Control
Strict adherence to JSON, XML, or YAML schemas for machine-readable AI responses.
Infrastructure
Configuration.
Manage your architectural standards and private keys to maintain a consistent developer experience across your entire software lifecycle.
Model Management (BYOK)
BYOK is available on the Lifetime plan and currently supports an OpenAI API key only. Your usage is billed to your own OpenAI account, and the key is stored locally in your browser or IDE (not on PromptDC servers). For Chrome flows, add it from /account/subscription. For IDE flows, add it in the PromptDC profile settings.
System Prompt Overrides
Completely replace the default PromptDC logic with your own custom system instructions. Enforce project-specific architectural rules (e.g., "Always use Tailwind and TypeScript") sitewide without manual repetition.
Public & Private Libraries
Create reusable technical files containing boilerplate or project context. Access our **Public Community Library** through the PromptDC library/community UI. On supported web apps you can use the // trigger, and in IDE workflows you can browse and copy/paste prompts or files into chat.
Knowledge & Insights.
How do I get started with PromptDC?
Begin by writing a raw coding intent. Use our Simple or Structured modes to rewrite it into a high-fidelity technical specification ready for any LLM or IDE agent.
What is the Language Library?
The Language Library allows you to enhance prompts in 9 supported languages. PromptDC doesn't just translate; it maintains technical nuances and coding terminology across Spanish, Chinese, Czech, and more, ensuring the AI receives correct instruction in any language.
How does the Public Community Library work?
Our Public Library is a collection of community-validated prompts. On supported web apps you can search using the '//' trigger, and in IDE workflows you can browse library/community content from the PromptDC sidebar and copy/paste prompts or files into chat.
Can I use my own API keys?
Yes, Lifetime users can add an OpenAI API key for supported BYOK flows. The key uses your own OpenAI credits and is stored locally on your device (browser or IDE), not on PromptDC servers.
