Connect Every Prompting Step

Developer workflows now cross chat apps, IDEs, browser build tools, and terminal CLIs during a single task. PromptDC Desktop uses one shortcut to rewrite selected text in desktop conversations and terminal inputs. The Chrome extension covers web fields, while dedicated VS Code and Cursor or Open VSX extensions serve editor AI chat panels.

Use PromptDC across AI coding tools, IDEs and terminals

The PromptDC desktop app for macOS and Windows enhances selected text in AI coding tools, every browser, IDE chat panel, desktop AI app and terminal. Use Cmd+Shift+E or Ctrl+Shift+E to open an editable review, then Replace or Copy.

PromptDC is the first desktop app to enhance prompts inside terminal CLIs, including Claude Code, Codex CLI, Gemini CLI, Grok, Agy and OpenCode. Choose the Code profile for implementation-ready prompts, and set it as the default profile for each coding app or terminal.

The Chrome extension and IDE extensions are optional. Chrome adds in-place rewriting without Accessibility permission, while IDE extensions add a target-agent picker and Simple or Structured output; the desktop app already covers browser fields, IDE chats and terminals.
